W S Dunsire & Sons Ltd, was formed in 1991, by Bill, David and Chris Dunsire.
The firm was originally a branch outlet of Fife firm Magnus F Dunsire and Sons Ltd, which was formed by our grandfather 'Curly' in 1950. The mainstay of the business at that point was joinery manufacturing and manufacturing of 'Mock Chippendale' furniture.
As the company flourished Curly was joined by his son Bill as partner in the firm.
This company held the same high standards as is now expected in our own company. Such was the success of this commitment to quality that the company grew to become one of Fifes largest independent employers.
After being instrumental in the parent company's success Bill decided that the time was right to move out on his own and re-locate to the Central belt, where the great infrastructure means we can access almost any part of the country within an hour, the Stirling branch was then purchased.
In addition to Bill, David & Chris, the "family" firm also employs our mother
and sister in administration, making this
a true family effort
